01/29/2024: We had a special event in collaboration with the Office of Career Strategies! We had the opportunity to learn about the legal career field and gain insight on law school applications.
Information session about the LDF- Marshall Motley Scholars program
01/25/2024: Huge thanks to the LDF Marshall-Motley Scholars Program for providing the info session for us. The scholar program has the mission of developing the next generation of civil rights attorneys committed to working for racial justice on behalf of Black communities in the South.
First General Meeting
12/8/2023: The first general meeting of Yale's Black Pre-Law Association was an exciting and dynamic gathering that marked the beginning of a journey toward fostering community and empowerment among black students pursuing a legal post-graduate career. The meeting provided an opportunity for the board to outline the club's overarching goals and to connect and exchange ideas with new members to create a supportive network for aspiring Black legal professionals.
We have many events and opportunities in store for the upcoming semester! Some of these include pre-professional mixers, panel discussions with current law students and legal professionals, trips to law firms and other legal organizations, collaborations with pre-law organizations at peer institutions, LSAT prep, and more!
